My approach is tailored to your needs, drawing on a range of psychotherapy models to enable us to work deeply and relationally on the difficulties you face. Together we will seek to build your understanding and awareness and to shift unhelpful patterns of relating to yourself, others, to life situations and challenges.
Therapy is a weekly space just for you where you can get the support you need. Sessions last 50 minutes and are at the same time every week. I work on an open ended basis but can also offer shorter term work which can be effective for specific issues such as following a major life event.
Building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship with you is the foundation for exploring and understanding your thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it can be helpful to have a skilful, caring and experienced person to talk to.
