I undertook my psychotherapy and counselling training at The Minster Centre in London which is affiliated with Middlesex University. This is the UK’s leading Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling Institution. I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Bachelor of Law degree and MBA. I completed my Foundation Certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at WPF, in London.
I am a Full Clinical Member of UKCP, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (No. 2011183271) and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP - No. 00886838).
I draw on theory from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis and Existential Psychotherapy. At the heart of our work together will be the relationship we develop. I believe in the importance of kindness, compassion, empathy and deep listening to create the conditions for potential growth and transformation.
I have a wide range of life experience including many years working as a senior manager for a number of charities supporting people with health, social care and special educational needs. Alongside my private practice I have worked in University, NHS and local community counselling services.
My work is conducted within the UKCP Code of Ethics and the BACP Ethical Framework.
