If you are interested in starting therapy, I suggest we have an initial session to get to know each other. This would be an opportunity for you to talk about your situation and what you are hoping to work on. At the end of the initial meeting we will agree the next steps. If you want to start therapy we will agree a regular time to meet and this will be your reserved space.
My fee is £75 per 50 minute session.
Sessions are at my practice in King's Cross or London Bridge. Both my consulting rooms are conveniently located a few minutes walk from the mainline and underground stations.
Whilst I find it preferable to see you in person, I realise this isn't always possible and I am able to offer sessions online if that suits you better.
I offer an opportunity for you to talk about anything. Coming to therapy can feel a little scary at first but I aim to create a really safe space for you to share even the most difficult things. I will listen and reflect back what I hear, encouraging you to say more. Together we will explore your experience, to make sense of it, to consider how you can find a way to move forward. Psychotherapy doesn't usually have a fixed duration but rather is tailored to be as long as you need. For some people this might be a few months and for others a year or more. Sometimes, especially after a major life event, it may be helpful to work on a short-term basis and agree a fixed number of sessions from the beginning of our work together.
I hope you enjoy this video made by the School of Life. It gives you some idea what it will be like to work together. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
